Summer Rose

History

Summer Rose had married Taiyang Xiao Long a year after Raven Branwen left him and their young daughter behind. She raised Yang as her own child, and this didn't change when she gave birth to her own child, Ruby Rose. However, she had gotten involved into Ozpin's war with Salem. The Headmaster told her she was the key to victory, and if Salem wasn't stopped, life as they knew it would end. Wanting to protect her daughters from this fate, she set out to take her down after training to use her Silver Eyes. It was an utter failure, Salem's forces were too numerous and too powerful for her to take them on, even with her power, and she was forced to flee. Unfortunately, she hadn't gotten far. After being flung out a window, she had be viciously mauled by an Ursa Major. This resulted in her capture, and 11 years of torture in Evernight. She managed to retain her sanity and spite by thinking of her daughters, regardless of how many of her escape attempts failed, which Salem would frequently taunt her about. She eventually learned that Ruby had been accepted to Beacon... two years earlier than intended. This made her hate Ozpin even more, since she could see where that would lead to. She eventually managed to escape during the Fall of Beacon with Grimm Hook induced injuries

Petal Storm

Her Semblance is, Petal Storm, which allows her to create a storm of rose petals. The petals can be as sharp as knives for an attack, or be firm and dense for a shield, and are affected by the type of Dust Summer uses. This can be used to also create a distraction.

When the petals are used as a shield, they're white, and when they're used as a weapon, they're red.

These petals are vulnerable to being burned, meaning that she can't use them to effectively block fire.

Summer's weapon is White Thorn, a spear that can turn into a sniper rifle. She usually uses it's sniper form, as she's better with long-ranged fighting, and even with the spear, she tends to take jabs from the end of it.
